What is the Law of Attraction and how does it work… for you?

Most of us are aware of the “Law of Attraction”. The basic idea is that you create a visualization in your mind (or on a vision board) of what you want to happen and the universe then finds a way to get it to you.

This premise is well defined in Think and Grow Rich, a book by Napoleon Hill.
Sounds easy right?

In theory, this sounds simple and easy but actual execution can be difficult to perform. Our minds rarely focus on one thing and therefore your thoughts are not necessarily purposeful.

You’ve heard that “Be careful what you wish for.”? Well that holds true in attracting the things you want as well. One needs to be specific and always positive.

If you want to manifest a fully stocked larder, you first have to envision it, exactly as you want it. The details need to be specific, from how many rows of shelves to what is on the shelves.

Same if your dream is a cabin in the woods. You need to create your vision in detail. What kind of logs, who built it, layout, etc…

The next step in the Law of Attraction is to ACT as if the manifested thing is already yours. Feel the joy. The relief, the satisfaction of having everything you need.

And the final step? It’s action.

Be active in your quest. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. You have to take hold of your OWN reins, your own destiny and create steps, however small they may be, to make your dream a reality.

Be thankful. Be grateful. You must remain positive. Negativity negates your actions whether physical or mental.

Each path begins with one step.
